George Ruiz To my Brothers and Sisters I would like to thank everyone for your support and the opportunity to serve as your vice president. As soon as I settle in, I will visit with as many members as possible on both shifts so I may introduce myself. I would also like to welcome all the new members of Local 31. This is a good plant to work at and has many great people to meet and work with. Congratulations to all the new retirees. Please remember the Retiree’s Meeting is the third Tuesday of the month. Also congratulations to all elected Committeepersons and Alternate Committeepersons. June 30th through July 6th is a negotiated Independence week.

The Vice President or Vice Presidents shall assist the President in the discharge of her/his duties and shall attend all sessions of the Local Union. In case of the absence or incapacity of the President, the President's duties shall be performed by the Vice President, provided that where there are two (2) or more Vice Presidents, the Local Union shall determine which of them shall perform such duties. |
